Our client has a direct hire opening for a Customer Service Manager job near Ashtabula, OH. You must have a minimum of five to seven years of management experience in customer service or logistics in a relative industry. You will be responsible for world-class customer service to a customer base across all marketing lines while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include customer order management and the consistent fulfillment of customer requirements.
The salary range for this position begins at $60,000 to $80,000 or competitive depending on experience.
The Customer Service Manager job responsibilities include:
Evaluate customer / business requests; solve customer inquiries, timely, efficiently, and positively.
Improve process to ensure world-class customer service platform.
Create balance between being the quintessential customer advocate while ensuring the needs of the business are met.
Develop departmental goals; create appropriate goals.
Analyze and act upon Key Performance Indicators as necessary.
Partner with sales staff to achieve service levels and financial goals.
Interpret complaint trends / ensure corrective action initiatives are implemented.
Analyze / determine staffing levels in line with departmental budget constraints.
Create / administer departmental budget.
Engage team / address training needs as required.
BS/BA degree or similar preferred.
7+ years experience in customer service.
Knowledge of ERP-oriented systems, SAP Preferred.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Ability to motivate and develop a team atmosphere.
Familiarity with electronic commerce applications such as EDI preferred.
Strong customer advocacy experience.
Microsoft knowledge including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
